The first time I published a paper was in 2005. I had never imagined this conference would change my perspective of the academy, creating a strong bound. In Venezuela, academy and industry don't share anything: research is dead (or unborn, hope so). But for me, even in a environment like this, I try to do some research meanwhile I work in the industry.

From September 2010 to June 2011 I will be studing and working at the GAMA Laboratory (formely part of LIESP) in the project "Delivery Areas of the Future" for the Region Rhone-Alpes, France.
My work consists of implementing a distributed and decentralized algorithm to solve the problem of planning the "Last Mile Delivery" for companies having clients in Lyon.
